1.5-inch live steam model of the prototype: SP2248, built in 1896,  used as a fire fighting train in the snow sheds of the Sierras and currently being operated by the Fort Worth and Western Railroad in Fort Worth, Texas, pulling an excursion train.  This shot was taken on the day of its arrival at its new home, the track of LOCO (Locomotive Operators of Central Oklahoma). beanpub@attglobal.net

This is my seven-year-old son, Garrett, at the
throttle of his grandfather's 1.5-inch Southern Pacific consolidation #3420X pulling out of the Indian Gap
yard on the Comanche and Indian Gap Rail Road. The tack is located on the ranch of Roy Pickhard' near
Priddy, Texas.

2 1/2"/foot model D&RGW OP derrick and
idler car that was built by Eric Bracher of Saratoga, Ca and then modified by me. It was originally on 1 1/2" scale trucks and some detail was missing so I built and installed Conway 2 1/2" trucks and added brake and other details from Como Roundhouse Products. The photo was taken on a trestle on the Flintridge and Portola Valley Railroad, Western Division owned by my neighbor and friend Ron Schmidt. Peter Moseley
