2-6-0, number 22, was originally built for the Denver, South Park & Pacific in
the 1880’s by Brooks. This model was scratch built using castings for the
drivers and domes only.
As the second owner, I
replaced the boiler for greater steaming capacity and the ability to burn coal.
The locomotive was last run 07/11/09 for approx. 5 hours. The boiler has been
fired a total of nine times and has been hydro tested by the boiler builder.
Many of the details were improved throughout the boiler rebuild.
As stated above, the
locomotive has both an air compressor and a steam dynamo, however I have not had
time to develop and plumb systems for these appliances. The compressor starts
effortlessly and the steam dynamo was tested to produce 26 Volts with no load.
Locomotive is free
steaming and capable of hauling a good sized load. Included in the sale is a
flue brush, oil cans, container of steam oil, fire tools, stack fan, and a gel
cell battery for the lighting. Everything needed to get you up and running.

anywhere in the lower 48 states. The locomotive is located in Central Florida
(Leesburg) and can be viewed by request.
