Coal fired Saddleback 0-4-0 Welsh Freelance Mining Engine and
2 Cars. It is a 2-1/2 inch scale narrow gauge for a 7-1/2 inch track for
$7,999.00
The Engine was built in 1990 using a steel boiler operating at 120 psi with
electric lites and air brakes. The Boiler was hydroed at 188 psi on 5-25-2007
by the St. Croix Railroad Club in Hudson, Wisconsin. The Engine was then
operated. The photo shows the owner in the wheelchair and the club president
at the throttle. He stated that "its very easy to fire up and operate. The
cars are 1 Gondola and 1 Flatbed car with 6 seats.
Included are 2 storage/moving racks, Transport Rails and
frame which fits an 8 foot pickup box, oil cans, grease guns, wobble pump and
coal, everything that's needed to fire and run. Also 4 new brass couplers, 2
aluminum couplers and pockets, 6 wheels, axles, bearing and holders, springs,
and 2 new oilers.
Actual crating and shipping charges will be paid for by the
buyer or arrangements can be made for pick up in St. Paul, Minnesota or
delivery in a reasonable area around my home.
