is a completely welded 100T Evans Coil car with angled hoods. All of the welding
is completed. The hoods are fully detailed and ready for paint. The main body
needs a few grab irons. attached as well as the stirrup steps brakewheel housing
and the walkways. All these parts are included and all the mounting holes have
been laser cut. The frame has been set up for Tom Bee trucks with a 3/8" plate
welded to the frame. Coupler mounting has been set for MCC couplers or

pictures of what a finished flat car will look like. This 1/8 scale car frame
has been completely welded by PSC.
This car was originally destined for our own personal fleet but due to
current space constraints and that fact that we are moving our shop we have
decided to sell this assembled frame. The frame is complete welded, the
coupler pockets have been drilled for MCC sprung shank couplers not included
with the car. There are no provisions at this time for mounting trucks.
Should the buyer want to use Tom Bee Bettendorf trucks, I will weld on the
appropriate mounting plate at no charge, otherwise it is up to the buyer to
mount their favorite brand of trucks. The frame will require some sanding to
clean up the backside of the welds and a good wipe down with mineral spirits
to clean off any oil and dirt before painting. The car comes with the grab
irons and stirrup steps and the holes have been already laser cut as with all
our kits. All hardware is the responsibility of the buyer but we use 4-40
machine screws. Our predrilled decking is available for an additional $125.
The deck is made of individual white oak boards that have been planed on 4
sides and predrilled to match the laser cut holes in the deck frame. If the
buyer would like to make their own deck we will happily provide the required
dimensions.
The car will be shipped by DHL at buyer expense or can be picked up in
Cincinnati OH or for a nominal fee in Peoria IL on the weekend of Nov. 2.
