Morris Super Detailed PRR ES-12

This locomotive is
factory equipped with a HONDA, gasoline power engine and is in 1-˝” scale.
Every detail that I could recognize from actual PENNSYLVANIA RAILROAD photos
has been added to this locomotive. It has the largest, deep-cycle battery I
could find that would fit inside, a "HADLEY", heavy-duty air pump and
functioning air brakes on the riding car. It has custom made door louvers,
lift-rings, additional prototypical piping, additional hand rails, grab irons
and rivet detail, correct air horn castings, poling pockets and was
professionally painted in PRR BRUNSWICK GREEN LOCOMOTIVE PAINT by an auto
body shop. The locomotive is approximately three years old and well
maintained. It has given me excellent service and can handle 10-12 cars on
most railroads it has operated on. I estimate it weighs between 200 & 300
pounds and is an ideal unit to travel from railroad to railroad for operating
sessions. It also has an operating headlight with high and low beam and a red
indicator light that is lit when the air pump is pumping. The air pump
circuit is wired through the head light switch. The air brakes are applied by
an air, toggle switch mounted in the deck of the riding car. Dummy couplers
are used between the 7917 and the riding car and safety chains are provided
on both ends of both pieces of equipment. It has an external plug to charge
the battery. It is being offered FOR SALE to fund another locomotive building
project being built by the owner.
The RIDING CAR is a
custom-built, depressed-center, all steel flat car with MOUNTAIN CAR COMPANY
trucks and air brakes. It has a swivel seat and dummy hand brakes on both
ends. It is lettered for the PRR but is not a model of any particular PRR
freight car.
Asking price is

for both. Since these two pieces of equipment are mated up for the
working “parking brake”, they will NOT be sold individually. Actual crating
and shipping charges will be paid for by the buyer or arrangements can be
made for pick up in central PENNSYLVANIA or delivery in a reasonable area
around my home.
