7½" ga. 2-8-0 Project
Free lance 2-8-0 built using Little Engine switcher castings, Built by Little
Engines, chassis is timed and running on air, this loco is heavy. all steel,
rods, valve gear lead truck, saddle and more almost no aluminum on this...all
steel, cast iron or brass.
comes with, custom cut and formed steel cab, steam and sand dome, fiberglass
tender tank, 1 set of switcher drawings, 1 set Little Engines tender truck
castings...features two (2) 150 psi. wagon top boilers (one is ASME code).
Never fired. Loco was designed to fire on Oil or Propane. boiler rated at 150
psi and 76 pound per hour, has 33 , 5/8" dia steel flues. I have a set of
water jet cut eccentric rods to replace the adjustable ones shown on loco that
were used for timing it. any questions contact me...I had been building this
loco for myself but need to down size and eliminate some projects.....Asking
$12,750

would prefer loco to be picked up (it is in Lancaster, PA) but crating and
shipping will be available at additional cost.
Comes with a spare boiler.
