Ready to Run coaches. 1.5" scale, 7.5" gauge.
Fully sprung and equalized
trucks with ball bearings provide an exceptionally smooth ride. Three point
suspension to the chassis for superior tracking. Super Duty frame made of
heavy wall 1" x 2" square tubing and 1" angle is virtually indestructible.
Sides and ends are 1/8" aluminum. Roof ends are solid wood and tough enough
to handle the occasional misplaced passenger. Unique pivoting coupler
pockets allow these cars to go around very sharp turns and s-curves.
Comes complete with trucks,
couplers, safety chains and two padded seats. Test run only, for about an
hour around my home RR, to make sure all works well.
The cars are 15" wide and 9' 5"
long coupler to coupler. They weigh about 180 pounds each.
One car has Mountain Car
Company couplers and blue seats. The other two have Tom Bee couplers and red
seats. These can be easily swapped around. The first buyer get to pick!
These cars look great the way
they are. However, with a hand drill and a fist full of push pins, you can
detail them yourself. The sides and ends unscrew for this purpose.
Gondolas and flat cars are a
handy thing to have on a railroad. Great for hauling ballast, fire wood and
all kinds of things. But passengers? Show some respect! Your riders are not
ballast...give them the Pullman Treatment!
These are located about 30
miles East of Pittsburgh. I would really prefer local pick, but I will ship
them. There will be a $100 charge for crating and the shipping charges would
also be your responsibility.
The cars are priced at $1899
each or $5400 for all three.

The trucks, frames and plywood
floors are painted already so you can take them out and run them right away
with no worries.
