49 62 individual CNC laser cut parts
from 1/4", 3/16", 1/8" and 16 Ga. mild steel plate to build a 7-1/2" gauge
(or 7-1/4") Bagnal style Sweet William 0-4-2 coal fired live steam locomotive
with tender and pony truck. Also included will be a set of 6 drawings
for the Sweet William and pony truck instructions sheet, Frame arrangement
drawings and brake arrangement drawings.

Q: Does this
group of parts include everything I'll need to complete this locomotive?
A: This
group of parts was not intended to include everything (click
for a complete list of parts that are being offered here). It only
includes those parts (62 to be exact) that are cut from flat steel plate.
While building my own Sweet William, I took the time to lay out each part on
a computer and had them laser cut for extreme precision. I'm making
laser cut parts available to anyone that wants them. You can take advantage
of my work and save dozens of hours of tedious labor. You'll have more time
to construct the other parts and complete this locomotive sooner.
Complete
construction plans are available from
Blackgates, or it can be built using the "Build
your own Steam Locomotive" book by Jack Buckler, on constructing a Sweet
Pea and multiplying its dimensions by 1.5.
