L.E. Pacific 7 1/2' 1 1/2' scale engine
chassis's, and will be very impressive once complete at over 6 feet
long just the engine!, it is
assembled sections 1 through 11 beautifully! Section 12 is the piston
assembly, and piston block, and has not been assembled as of yet but I have
all the parts for it. The machining was all done by Little Engines. The
assembly was done by a friend of mine. Eccentrics are completed and assembled.
Included blueprints sections 1-12.
All you need to do is
sections 12-15 including the brakes, smoke box and cab assembly, boiler these
are not included nor are they in
my possession.
Also I have acquired a
very nice pacific tender
from Little Engines that is made of sturdy industrial fiberglass and can
support 2 adults, has rivet detail built into mold, it is just the shell and
needs couplers wheels, under frame and so forth, but is part of the deal.
I have a
crate for the engine and can be sent via
professional shipping company to any major or maybe regional airport,
all you will need is a way to pick it up yourself from the warehouse, they can
help with a forklift. The crate is about 8' long 18' high and 22' wide. and
weights about 250 lbs. The amazing thing is I can get you a good price from
the shipper, I estimate it will be about $200-300 to ship depending on where
you are located. The tender will be a little extra I believe $75 via mail. Or
you can come pick it all up.
Sections 1-11
assembled and machined incl. labor and time, would cost about $14-15k
according to L.E. catalogue, the Instant tenders go for $957.00
This locomotive does
not use the old type slider valve style pacific with
unobtainable piston valve parts!
