scale, 7.5 gauge, Caboose.
The interior is
finished in what could be best describe as "Folk Art Tradition".
16 inches wide to the edge of the
steel steps (widest point)
24 inches tall from the rail head
(not the flanges)
52 inches long to the outside end of
the brass couplers. (not the centers)
Trucks are Winton sprung arch bars.
Couplers are brass, hung on steel draft gear, with functioning
cut levers. Caboose frame is wood, battery boxes on both sides
open and could actually hold batteries. Doors on the ends also
open and close. The light on the top is wired, but itís done in
the same ďfolk art traditionĒ. It is stout construction and
weights a good amount, one person could lift it but itís clumsy.
Placards on the sides easily unscrew and I *think* itís painted
underneath. Iíve owned it for 7 years, it came from a friends
estate who owned it for at least 30 years. There is footage of
it behind SPL #5 in the video in itís add.
