Boiler water chamber is 16" diameter and
28" high, without fire box or smoke hood and stack. Boiler is
equipped with an adjustable antique brass pressure relief valve,
a Penberthy size 00 injector, a steam gauge, water site glass
and steam whistle(3" diameter X 13" high).
I burn wood as fuel and operate on 65 to 90
psi steam pressure. I performed a hydro static test to 130 psi
each year and used distilled water to make steam. This is
relatively cheap and prevents boiler scale build-up.
