This locomotive and calf unit has been our organizationís engine since purchased new in 1995 and for many of members it was the first engine they ran. It has provided good service for our organization however an opportunity has come up that we can replace it with a new SW1500 and KLS has designated this loco and calf unit as surplus to our operation. There is not an hour meter on the unit. We estimate about 750 hours of operation on our run days twice a month April through October for about three hours a day. With the powered slug this is a very powerful multi-unit loco and typically hauled 4 straddle passenger cars with up to 5 adult passengers per car with no difficulty. This would be a great starter engine for someone with basic mechanical abilities or for someone who would want to move from steam to the simpler gas-hydraulic powered locomotive. It is painted in Milwaukee colors and is a bright and colorful locomotive. It has had constant maintenance and care from our skilled members throughout its life and needs a good home.  It can be inspected and test ran at the club track on scheduled run days 2nd and 4th Saturdays of the month or privately shown with at least 5 day advanced appointment.

$8,000. F.O.B Port Orchard Wa or can be delivered to Train Mountain Oregon for pick up. If you require this locomotive to be shipped by commercial carrier crating and shipping would be at additional cost.  .
