For Sale:  MDM Locomotive R/C Controller

  SOLD

Controller for an MDM locomotive was built for me by Dan Lewandowski in Minnesota. The controller works just like the hand held that was designed by the late Jim Murray of MDM except you do not have to be sitting on the engineer’s car. This controller is perfect for switching operations and making videos.I am including a module to turn on the marker lights in the caboose and a smoker unit for the caboose stove.

Here is a You Tube video of the system in operation.

I am selling this because I have had our engines completely reworked with a different RC system.

$300 including shipping within the US. Overseas shipping at cost. Located in south central Kentucky. Contact me.   SOLD

For Sale:  1.5" scale Railroad Warehouse Remotely Controlled Cylinder Cocks

  SOLD

These Railroad Warehouse remotely controlled cylinder cocks are considered new, but I did install them on the Allen Mogul to try them out. They have been under steam ONCE.

The cocks set too low for this engine and the piping was in constant danger of being damaged so I replaced them with some automatic cocks from another source.

No piping is included. The cocks are not damaged and they work as advertised, just not on this particular engine.

$100 for the set of four which includes Free USPS Priority Shipping to any US postal address. International shipping for actual cost. Contact me.

For Sale:  1.6" scale Saw Tooth Boxcar

  SOLD

This 1.6 model of a Soo Line 1915 outside braced grain boxcar was featured in the January/February 2014 issue of Live Steam and Outdoor Railroading. It is a model of the Haskell & Barker 1915 series of the deep center underframe and the unique saw tooth side post/side sill/crossbearer arrangement the Soo Line was well known for.

This car has 7.5" ga. Wayne Godshall Andrews' trucks with Mountain Car Company air brake rigging. The doors open, about like the prototype, a little tough to slide (I can remember my dad opening one of these on the way freight he was braking on back in the 50’s, with a crow bar and hammer) the lumber door slides up and down in brass tracks. The graphics are stencil painted, not vinyl.

The car has been run on our railroad as well as several others, but the wheels are in very good shape, the flanges are very slightly worn. It has Tom Bee couplers, underbody safety chain, and the air brake train line.

The Soo Line OB Sawtooth car is 16-3/4" wide at the eaves, 21-1/2" high at the roofwalk, and 69-1/4" over the roofwalk. The car weighs 180 pounds.

I can crate it up and ship it for what it costs me at a buyer’s request, or it can be picked up at our track here in south central Kentucky or at the Mill Creek RR in Coshocton OH for the Memorial Day meet later this month.

$2,370  Reduced to $2,000   which includes trucks and couplers, even less without  trucks and couplers.  .
