If you are into large scale "ride-able" model railroading you are
welcome to attend. You do not need to bring equipment. 7.5"
gauge IBLS standards please. If you're new to the hobby, this will
be a GREAT place to find out about us. Sorry, the general public
will not be invited to this event. There is only limited space so
register early.
Cost to attend
There will be a $20 Registration Fee (to help offset the cost of meet)
and will be for each vehicle (auto, truck, etc) and will cover all 4 days. Late registration is
$25 $20. Cancellations: The registration fee is refundable within 30
days. After that, a 10% processing fee will apply. In addition to the
registration fee, a $5.00 per person admission
will also be charged payable on arrival.
Why do we need to pay for this event? We are
very glad that there are tracks that are willing to host our conventions.
If we are going to impose on our host track by asking them to sponsor one
of our conventions, then it's only fair that we try to reduce their
out-of-pocket-expenses to host us. Expenses like port-a-potties and
electricity and garbage can liners and trash removal, etc. AND, if we're lucky, we may
have enough left over, after the bills are paid, to make a small thank-you
present for out host track. Wouldn't that be the right thing to do?
Don't forget, an early registration will get you the official DLS
convention tee shirt.
Food
We have made arrangements with the local Boy Scout Troup to provide
food service for this event. We will post details as we know them. BBQ grills are
always welcome. Unofficial "Pot Luck" dinners may "spontaneously
happen", you can never tell about those things. There are several
restaurants and fast food establishments with in several miles of the
track too.

I'm inviting all Diesel, Steam and related vendors to come join us at
