"Logging in the Northwest"

This picture was taken in the summer of '01 at the Vancouver Island Model Engineers Summer Run. The "Speeder" was researched and scratch built by Ray Barron of the VIME group and is of a typical Pacific Northwest Lumber Company Logging Crew mover. The two detached trucks under the logs were also built by Ray. The picture was taken on their first day in operation. The skeleton Car trailing is also some of Rays handiwork.
