Introducing The "Grizzly"
Chassis only is $2400. The Grizzly has two motors, and
compared to the Huskie, does double the work with greater efficiency! The
controller is very sophisticated, and made in the USA. 5 inch heavy-duty
steel wheels from Morris are now standard. Wheels are keyed to the axles.
Complete locomotive is $3500. Details include front and rear facing headlight, exhaust
stack, horn, bell, glad hands and angle cocks, and solid bronze couplers.
Journals with bearing cap details, louvered doors with door-handles, and
handrails are also included. This list will remain complete as long as the
suppliers remain available.
The locomotive shown was just picked up by its new owner. He
will be powder coating the engine at a local shop, and completing the detail
work on his own. This was the prototype for this model, and we were both very
pleased at how it has turned out. It is proportionally "just right".
